Sound speed profiles measured throughout July 1, 2003 (from
Warren Fox, APL-UW)
This is a set of sound speed profiles computed from
XBT drops over a 7.5 hour time span. The ship was moving, so they are
not all at the same location. However, they do give an indication of
the variability of the sound speed conditions in the area.
